Photography shoot on the farm with James

As a photographer from Waterford, I was priviliged to be asked to take pictures of James, the brother of the Power sisters that I took few years ago on the farm. I was excited to meet James who I never met until now as a four year old. I was impressed by his mannerism and politeness at the breakfast table surrounded by his sisters and mother who asked me what he should wear for the shoot. I advised something neutral like jeans and a shirt. It is always a good idea to go for colours that blend well together. James’s mother showed me the jeans with two choice shirts, one which was white and the other coloured checked shirt. I chose the coloured checked shirt as it looked right on James who has blonde hair.

The session went well whilst the sisters watched on. James had the opportunity to sit among the calves, stroke the dog and greet the horse and of course sat on his tractor toy as if he was acting as the future farmer. It was a pleasure to meet James and was advised by his mother that she wanted me to take pictures of all the children next. OH I look forward to that and wonder how that will come out!
